Memorial Giving
Give a gift in memory of a friend, be they two-legged or four-legged, or to someone who has lost a beloved pet by donating a Memorial Gift to Amigos. We will send a special card to your friend or relative acknowledging your thoughtful gift. For guidelines, email info@amigos-sma.org

Bequests
A gift to Amigos de Animales in your will provides your estate with an unlimited tax deduction. Amigos de Animales may be named as a beneficiary under your will in several ways: as the recipient of an outright gift, either by designated amount or as a residuary beneficiary to receive the balance of your estate after specific amounts have been paid to other beneficiaries. You can also add Amigos de Animales to your will through a codicil without re-writing your entire will. For guidelines, email

Real Estate
A residence, a vacation home, acreage (even a ranch) or an unimproved parcel of land may have appreciated so significantly in value that its sale by you would generate a substantial capital gain subject to income tax. By making a gift of a full or partial interest in real estate to Amigos de Animales, you will avoid tax on the long-term capital gain and generate an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property.
